星の見えない街中で暮らしていると、日々の生活と宇宙の結びつきをあまり意識しません。
しかし実際には、常に私たちの生活の全てが広大な宇宙の中で行われており、
星の見えない日中にも、私たちの周りには常に無数の星が存在しています。

この作品ではそれを昼間の日常生活と星座のイメージで表現しました。
折本を広げると無数の白色の星座が本全体でひと続きになっています。

・技法
シルクスクリーンの油性インクで星座のイメージが紙全面に白く刷られており、その上から木版で日常生活のイメージを刷っています。
木版による青い影は水性絵の具によって刷られており、この水性絵の具がシルクスクリーンの白い油性インクを弾きます。それによりシルクスクリーンで刷られた白い星座が木版で刷った影のイメージの中に浮かび上がってきます。

Living in a city where you cannot see the stars, you are not aware of the connection between your daily life and the universe.
In reality, however, everything in our lives is always taking place within the vast universe. Even in daytime when the stars are not visible, there are always countless stars all around us.

This is represented in this book by the images of our daily life during the daytime and the constellations. When Leporello is unfolded, countless white constellations continue in a background of images throughout the book.

・Technics
The shadows extending from people and objects are printed on the woodblock using water-based paint, so that the water-based paint bounces off the silkscreen ink and the silkscreened constellation emerges in the shadow image printed on the woodblock.
